Everest, the highest surface in the earth was first climbed by Tensing Norgay Sherpa and Sir Edmund Hillary in 1953 may 29. After the successful expedition over it in 1953, it became dream destination of million people. Thousands of Guinness World Records are related to Everest. Mt.Everest commonly known as Sagarmatha in Nepali and Chomolungma in Tibet. Not only the climbing, trekking around Everest is also popular route day by day. Everest Base Camp, the popular trekking destination is dominated by Mt. Everest. Everest Base Camp Trek offers us lifetime memory. Most of the route we will trekking is inside the Sagarmatha National Park which is also included in world heritage site. Tengboche Monastery along the way is another point of attraction. The largest Gompa in the Khumbu region was built in 1916 by Lama Gulu has situated at 3,867 m. Culture, religion, rituals, and custom of Sherpa people will be a different experience for us. Sherpa is the ethnic group of people in eastern Nepal. The story of Yeti, the history of Tibetan Buddhism, records regarding climbing Everest etc will make our trekking more unforgettable. After the adventurous flight to Lukla Airstrip(world’s dangerous airport), we will be heading towards Phakding. Next day we start to climb through Manjo village entering to Sagarmatha National park to reach Namche Bazar. Namche Bazaar is also known as ‘The Gateway of Everest’. After acclimatization on the beautiful area of Namche Bazaar another day we move towards Tengboche. Similarly, we keep moving through Debuche, Pangboche, Dingboche, Thukla, Lobuche, Gorak Shep until we reach Everest Base Camp. After hiking to Kala Pattar, we will back through Pheriche and most of the way will be similar up to Lukla. Our trek from Lukla to Lukla will be 12 days in total including 2 days acclimatization on the way.
